Leaving Vorboss
A few weeks ago, I shared a post on LinkedIn about stepping down as CEO of Vorboss and the difficult circumstances surrounding that decision.
After nearly 20 years building Vorboss, leaving was not something I ever expected to do in this way. Founding and growing a company of that scale required decades of commitment, trust, and belief in shared principles. When those principles begin to erode, the choices become stark.
Ultimately, my decision came down to something very simple: my reputation and ethical standards are not negotiable. No role, title, or outcome is worth compromising them.
That is deeply regrettable - particularly for the many incredible people I hired and worked alongside at Vorboss, and for customers who deserve stability rather than disruption. I remain immensely proud of what we built and the values that underpinned it for so long.
I’ll write more in the coming weeks about those values, why Vorboss was built differently from most telcos, and what I’ve learned from this experience. For now, I’m grateful for the huge amount of support I’ve received.
Some chapters end quietly. Others don’t. Either way, they still matter.
